Even though we do not yet understand the exact mechanism and there is no scientific evidence of its effectiveness, we are increasingly gaining the impression in our practice that these patients could certainly benefit from our holistic approach combining IHHT, oxyvenation, and other procedures. Since the symptoms of long COVID and post-COVID include impaired oxygen supply and disruption of cellular energy metabolism, it seems entirely plausible that IHHT could lead to better energy supply at the cellular level through mitochondrial regeneration, thereby gradually alleviating post-COVID symptoms.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>In recent months, IHHT has been increasingly requested in our practice by people with long COVID or post-COVID, but also by those with other post-viral fatigue conditions.
