Bio Health Concept
Micronutrient Analysis
Optimal healing through tailored nutrient supply
The individual micronutrient analysis
It is crucial to optimally prepare the body before starting treatment. It is important to replenish the body’s own vitamin and nutrient stores. The body needs these to perform all metabolic functions optimally. Without optimal nutrient supply, optimal healing is not possible, especially not in the phase after biological dental restoration. This is because micronutrients are needed for the formation of new blood vessels, the building of new and healthy bones and gums, good and fast wound healing, cell renewal, and increased detoxification performance after restoration. As on a construction site, progress is not possible if cement bags, machines, building blocks, and craftsmen are missing.
Practical experience shows how important high-quality micronutrient therapy is nowadays. Because the fact is: the nutrient stores of people who do not regularly take micronutrients are often alarmingly empty.
Significance of blood analysis
Standard values vs. Intraerythrocyte blood analysis
Standard blood tests by general practitioners usually measure micronutrients, such as vitamins or trace elements, only in the blood serum – i.e., outside the cells (extracellular). The problem: These values do not provide accurate information about the supply of micronutrients to the cells.
Limitations of serum analysis:
- Blood serum measurements only capture extracellular values.
Important micronutrients such as potassium, magnesium, zinc, or B vitamins are mostly found intracellularly (inside the cells). - Deficiencies often only show up in the serum when symptoms appear (e.g., fatigue, concentration problems) or even when damage to tissue or organs has already occurred.
- Latent deficiencies remain undetected for a long time.
Why is that?
The concentration of important elements in the serum is kept as constant as possible. If the micronutrient intake (vitamins, minerals, etc.) is not sufficient for this, the body’s own reserves are mobilized from the cells to maintain the serum level. Therefore, deficiencies in the serum are usually not detectable or only very late.
Meaningful alternative:
The intraerythrocyte blood analysis
Therefore, the holistically working dentist optimally chooses the intraerythrocyte blood analysis for micronutrient analysis, as even with whole blood analyses, there are still fluctuations in measurement due to short-term dietary changes.
